Loreal Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette + Blush || Review + Swatches


Recently I bought the L’oreal Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow palette and a blush from the collection. This is my review.

So the first thing that you should know about the L’oreal Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette (and the blush) is that they are peach-scented! Scented makeup products have become a trend in the makeup world recently, but you should know they are very faintly scented peach (not like the famous Too Faced Peach collection).

The shades in the eyeshadow palette are pretty soft to the touch and a little bit powdery, but they blend out just as fine as any other eyeshadows.

The colors are relatively pigmented and made a nice neutral peachy look and neutral brown-shimmery eye with some light gold and highlight shades. I will say that after about eight-to-nine hours they started to fade on my eye, which doesn’t usually happen to me because I use a primer (the one I like to use is the Milani Eyeshadow Primer, and it usually works great.)


The blush on the other hand, is absolutely gorgeous. I got mine in the shade Fantastical. It gives a shimmery, bright coral look to the cheeks that is still very wearable. I will love to wear this blush continuing for the rest of the summer and maybe also next spring though you can technically wear makeup whenever you like – this blush gives off a very warm-weather kind of vibe to me. It’s pigmented in one swipe and lasts generally all day though it starts to wear off a little bit at the end of the day, which is normal for me because I have combination-to-oily skin.

Overall, if you’re looking for a nice neutral eyeshadow with some warm pops I’d say that the Loreal Enchanted Paradise Palette is a nice find from the drugstore, though I do have eyeshadows that perform better than it. I found mine at Ulta, and don’t forget you can always use a $3.50 off $15 coupon when shopping there and they often have other sales such as buy one get one half off and other coupons. The blush is definitely a must-have for me, and I’d really encourage picking it up if you have a chance because it is stunning!
