TJ Maxx + Marshalls Haul #4

Recently I went to TJ Maxx and Marshalls and picked up some things. You guys seem to like these posts so I’m continuing the series! This is my haul.

Anastasia Contour Kit in Light/Medium – I couldn’t believe it when I saw this at Marshall’s, especially since I typically only see the cream version of this at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. I really liked the contour and bronzer shades of this palette which is what I typically used when using the palette. The contour shade was a perfect cool-toned shade, which is what I like to contour with. The bronzers were very smooth and not overly pigmented to the point that they made a big cloud of powder when put on my face that I had to work to blend it out, like sometimes happens with other bronzers. I didn’t use the banana or highlighting shades because I typically like more shimmery highlighters, so I didn’t get much use of out of them. Overall, I still used the bronzers enough so that I thought it was worth getting the palette, especially for the price.

Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Stripped – This is a nice nude liquid lipstick that pairs well with lots of looks. The formula is the same as other liquid lipsticks from Anastasia that I’ve used in that it is pigmented and lasts decently, but is somewhat drying especially after wearing it for awhile. I still liked it and will continue to wear it because I like the color.

BareMinerals The Nature of Nudes Eyeshadow Palette – The texture of these eyeshadows are great – what you see is what you get with these shadows, they apply exactly as they appear and go on super easily. They also last well. I will say that the color selection is slightly boring and I wish there were more color options (like maybe a dark brown) but if you were looking for a neutral eyeshadow palette, this one is super great quality!

Real Techniques 2 Miracle Sponges + 2 Stands – I bought this because I already had the Miracle Sculpting Sponge and I love it so I didn’t mind having another one, and I wanted to try the Miracle Mini Eraser Sponge. I wanted to see if it would be good for blending out my liquid cheek highlighter, and it definitely was. It’s the perfect size to blend out the cheekbone area and I’ve been using it ever since.

Karl Lagerfield T-Shirt – I was very excited to see a t-shirt from the head designer of Chanel at TJ Maxx and snatched it up immediately upon seeing it. It’s a great shirt to wear on casual days with leggings, or shorts especially this time of year, and I loved getting a piece from his collection at a low price.

Gucci slide imitations – These slides almost exactly resemble their famous counterparts from Gucci, so when I saw they were $13 and were in my size it was an easy decision to get them. They’re comfortable and from the brand Catherine Maladrino which I’ve never heard of but I’ve worn them with some cute looks so far and think I’ll get a lot of use out of them over the summer.
