Products That Disappointed Me Part #2

Disclaimer: These products didn’t work for me but it doesn’t mean that they might not work for you! I’m simply here to talk about products and whether they worked out for me or not, and these products didn’t work out for me. If they worked out for you, that’s great! Let me know if there’s another way I can use them in the comments, I’d be very eager to know.

Sonia Kashuk Dissolve Oil to Gel Facial Cleanser

I was so excited to try a gel cleanser, but this Sonia Kashuk gel cleanser let me down. My eyes burnt when the I used the cleanser near them, and though tbe formula is very thick it wasn’t very good at taking off makeup. I mostly use it to take off liquid lipsticks at the end of the day if they’re stubborn and haven’t come off already, but it’s still not good very good at doing that either. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this gel cleanser in the future.

OPI Infinite Shine 2 Nail Polish in ‘Can’t Stop Myself’

This polish being in this category shocked me. We all know that OPI has a great formula on most of their polishes, but this one from their Infinite Shine 2 collection did not deliver. I really loved the the color, so I was disappointed when the formula for this did not last longer than 2 days, even with an Essie gel top coat that usually makes any nail polish for at least 5 days. I will still re-paint my nails this color while I have it on for the color, but I’m disappointed by how it performed.

Elf Beauty Shield Massaging Overnight Recovery Cream – The top of this broke on me so I’ve had to use the rolling part separately, which I wasn’t thrilled about obviously. Other than that, its overall the formula is so incredibly moisturizing and it smells amazing, kind of fruity. My skin feels soft and hydrated after using it, and I was excited to use this at nighttime. but I will say I think it could be clogging my skin.

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Lite

I’ve heard a lot about the It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In, so I decided to try the Lite version which is about a dollar cheaper. I’ve been using it to heat-protect my hair when I straighten it, but it just leaves my hair sticky and increases the time before I feel I need to wash my hair. Maybe the original version may be better, but I did not like this product.

Makeup Forever Fast Base Stick Foundation – This stick foundation goes on very creamy and full-coverage as I’ve mentioned in a haul, but by mid-day goes patchy and loses the coverage, and the part that doesn’t fade off looks very caky and heavy by that time also. This product was a big disappointment for me as I had high hopes and looking to even replace my Hourglass Vanish Stick foundation, which is my current go-to foundation.
