Happy May everybody! These are my beauty favorites for the month of May.
MAC Viva Glam II Lipstick – This lipstick from MAC’S charity line for AIDS is extremely pretty, neutral, and easy to wear. I often was able to throw it on without even a lip liner and it still looked good, not to mention that 100% of the proceeds goes to MAC’s AIDS fund. It looked great with many different looks and I really enjoyed this lipstick this month.
Huda Beauty Matte Liquid Lipstick in Sugar Mama – The formula on this Huda Beauty lipstick (which I did an entire post on here) was super comfortable and probably my new favorite liquid lipstick formula. It was creamy, the color was neutral peachy-pink and easy to throw on with tons of loos, and I didn’t even realize I was wearing a liquid lipstick the majority of the time I was wearing it because it didn’t feel drying whatsoever until at least the third or fourth hour I was wearing it, and then it still only felt the slightest bit drying, hardly at all in fact. This liquid lipstick gets an A+ from me.
MAC Patrickstarrr Lipglass in She Better Work – I actually lost my first tube of this lip gloss from MAC and missed it so much, especially after hearing Jaclyn Hill raving about it again, that I had to buy it again. It’s so a super opaque nude gloss that is super shiny and super gorgeous over any nude lip, and of course it smells like the typical MAC vanilla scent. I absolutely love this gloss and am glad I picked it up again.
Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover – This eye makeup remover is pretty well known in the beauty community and takes off all eye makeup with just a little it on a Shiseido cotton eye pad and one or two swipes. I picked this up when it was on sale for $15 at Ulta and do not regret my purchase.
Tree Hut Sugarlips Lip Scrub – This lip scrub from Tree Hut is one of the best I’ve used. The base is vey balm-y and nourishing, and there’s plenty of sugar granules in the lip scrub to get a proper exfoliation. It’s only about $5 or $6 from Ulta and if you’re looking to exfoliate your lips, it’s totally worth it.
Marc Jacobs Decadence Rollerball Perfume – I’ve been looking a this perfume for months and months and finally decided to bite the bullet and pick up the rollerball size (as I rarely use up a whole perfume bottle). This perfume smells musky but light at the same time and I often get compliments while wearing this perfume.
