Just so you know for reference I have oily to combination skin that is acne prone. My skin has been very sensitive to lots of products recently so I thought I’d try some new face masks.

This mask was extremely easy to put on and take off, especially with the flat foundation brush I used to apply it. I liked this mask pretty decently.

Day Two: Fresh Rose Face Mask

Claims: What it is:
A cult-favorite hydrating and toning gel mask infused with real rose petals, soothing rosewater, and a “smart” algae that delivers optimum moisture.

Solutions for:
– Dryness
– Redness
– Pores

If you want to know more…
Fresh Rose Face Mask is a toning gel mask that drenches dull, tired skin with hydration for a healthy-looking complexion. This unique cooling mask is infused with real rose petals (an average of two-and-a-half roses per jar) to restore radiance and suppleness to all skin types.

The refreshing formula targets dry areas with porphyridium cruentum, a “smart” algae that delivers optimum moisture where the skin needs it most. Cucumber extract and aloe vera gel help soothe the skin and have an immediate cooling and calming effect, while antioxidant-rich green tea helps to brighten and protect. Gentle enough to use every day, this powerful mask is perfect for all skin types.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates

I got this as a 100 Point Perk at Sephora. It was a jelly consistency which it said has rose petals in it. I left it on for 10 minutes and it left my skin more supple, soft, and radiant just like it said it would! Since it was more of a liquid face mask, it was much easier to put on and wash off too. I could tell the difference immediately, so I really liked this one!

This sheet mask made my skin feel incredibly smooth. This mask claims to have revitalizing and nourishing properties tot promote healthy skin.I really liked how it smelled which was kind of a cross between shea and honey. I was hoping the Manuka honey was going to help heal my skin because Manuka honey is known to have antibacterial properties, and my skin did look calmer afterwards. I felt very refreshed after using it and though my face felt a little stiff after taking it off it off for a few minutes, I would probably use it again.

  1. Plus it’ll be really helpful to know the kind of skin type you’ve got, because I might like to try out some of these products and if they worked great for you, they might work for me 😁😁 however, I’m working on the DIY turmeric face mask. Cos I have oily skin. I will be posting about it on my blog soon. Feel free to visit and tell me what you think about it. Have you tried turmeric before?
