Totally Underrated? Lancome Glow For It Palette || Review + Swatches

There are tons of highlighters and highlighter palettes available right now, but one that I think is rather over-looked that shouldn’t be is the Lancome Glow For It Palette. It has three shades that it says have ‘buildable coverage’, and the one I have is in Golden Gleam. If you like natural-to-slightly more glam highlights, this highlight palette might be for you.

I find if you pick it up with a fan brush or a highlighting brush shaped like the Real Techniques setting brush, the highlight will give a really diffused pretty shimmer to the face and it will last all day. It really matters how you apply this highlighter I notice maybe due to the formula that the certain brushes distribute and spread out the product it will cause it to fade off quickly (but not unevenly) throughout the day. Here are some swatches and a few pictures of it shown on my face.

Overall it’s not the most pigmented highlighter but it is very pretty and I think it deserves some attention! If you’re in the store I’d recommend swatching it. It has almost a powder-to-cream finish which is very unique and sets it apart from other highlighters. Also it comes in 2 other colors, one that includes a more irididscent purple shade and one that has a warmer red shades, some that could be used also as an eyeshadow. There’s also a shade available on Lancome’s website called ‘Rose Twinkle’. I should mention it retails for $40 but I got mine for $27 and some more off with some coupons at Ulta so you might be able to score yours cheaper or on sale.
