Affordable Finds: Marshall’s & TJ Maxx

I’ve always been able to find some hidden gems at Marshall’s and TJ Maxx, but lately they’ve been killing it, especially in the beauty department! Here are some great finds I’ve grabbed from there lately.

Free People shirt – I absolutely love this bohemian flow 70’s top from Free People I got at Marshall’s! It’s absolutely adorable and I smile just wearing it. I tend to see Free People at Marshall’s/TJ Maxx but this one was just too cute not snatch up.

Anastasia Aurora Glow Kit palette – I had been thinking about getting this palette for awhile so I was excited to see this at Marshall’s and knew that I had to get it. The shades are really pretty, especially the lighter ones, but I mean what I said in my other post though about not dropping the Anastasia powders as they really will shatter easily!

Marshall’s Price: $25

Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette – I mentioned this in my 4 Palettes I’m using at the moment, but finding this palette in the beauty section in TJ Maxx was an absolute steal! This has the perfect shades for contouring and highlighting for many skin tones so it was really such a bargain finding this there.

TJ Maxx Price: $25

Anastasia Ashton & Catnip liquid lipstick – I wasn’t expecting to love this formula because I heard it was drying but Victoria from IntheFrow on YouTube said she really loved the shade in Ashton so when I saw it in the bin at Marshall’s I knew I had to have it. The warm golden caramel brown color lasts forever on the lips – through meals and everything. The shade Catnip is also a pretty berry plum shade and goes great with mascara or winged liner, and the formula was just as good as the other shade.

Honorable Mention — Alexander McQueen wallet

This wallet from Alexander McQueen is an honorable mention because while it is not super affordable it was amazing to get a discount off this item! I purchased this with Christmas money over the holidays in December — I was so astonished and excited to see it at TJ Maxx! This is my first designer purchase ever so I deliberated a lot over getting this but I ended up buying it. It does scratch easily but is a really beautiful item and I do not regret getting it. The zipper detail also is really unique and one of my favorite parts of this wallet.

Full Price: $350

TJ Maxx Price: $275

Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are really proving themselves as places to look out for lately! I might keep you updated maybe in the future if I see any really great finds! Let me know your thoughts in the comments and anything else,  ~ Whatever Lydia Does – xo.
