Your Autumn/Colder Weather Wardrobe Update || For $50 or Less

Autumn and the colder weather is here and it calls for a wardrobe update so I thought I’d share the five key pieces to keep a look out for with items I’ve picked that won’t break the bank. You can also bring some of these trends into winter.

The Crop Sweater

The crop top has been here forever and this fall is all about the crop sweater or the crop long sleeve top. I’d even advise going shorter than these because the great thing about the crop sweater is that you can still stay warm while giving a nod to the trend and keep them for chillier days of spring next year when it comes around.  Similar: one two

The Backpack

You’ve seen these everywhere but the backpack or the mini backpack is here to stay. It’s still a great way to update your bag whether it’s low-end or high end. I picked this faux-leather dark green one for fall and the upcoming colder months.

The Mule

Thanks to brands like Gucci (and Givenchy), the mule or (the slide) is being seen everywhere right now. I paired this pair with an embroidered animal top and some jeans for the full effect but you can also wear them with skirts (like thisthis or this one), dresses, or whatever you see fit. The good news is there’s lots of styles to chose from so whether you’re looking for something more plain or something specific to go with an outfit, you’ll find something to fit your needs for a casual everyday outfit

The Embroidered Top

If you keep up with celebrity trends, you’d have seen animal sweaters absolutely everywhere lately. I put this one with a track jacket for a relaxed-chic Insta-baddie vibe, but you could also pair this with a bomber jacket or a camo button down for an athleisure/about-to-hang-out-with-Cara Delevingne kind of a look.

The Off-the-Shoulder Knit

The off-the-shoulder trend completely absolutely blew up as one of the biggest trends this year and the off-the-shoulder sweater or knit is a great way to wear it into the fall
